Euphoria dominou os MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022
Na noite do passado dia 5 de junho, os MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022, apresentados por Vanessa Hudgens, distinguiram as maiores e mais brilhantes estrelas do cinema e da televisão com um épico evento global transmitido ao vivo a partir de Los Angeles, nos EUA.
Por sua vez, os MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022: UNSCRIPTED, conduzidos por Tayshia Adams, foram para o ar imediatamente a seguir, celebrando os momentos de fazer abrir a boca, totalmente sem regras e cheios de drama dos reality shows.
A série Euphoria foi a grande vencedora da noite, arrecadando quatro galardões, entre eles Best Show, Best Hookup, Best Fight e Best Performance in a Show, prémio atribuído a Zendaya. Quem venceu o mesmo prémio do lado dos filmes foi o namorado da atriz, Tom Holland, pela sua prestação em Homem Aranha: Sem Regresso a Casa, que mereceu também o Best Movie.
O pódio dos grandes destaques dos MTV Movie & TV Awards fica completo com Jennifer Lopez, que levou para casa o Best Song por On My Way, do filme Marry Me - Fica Comigo e viu a sua longa carreira na área da música, cinema e televisão ser reconhecida com o Generation Award. O ator Jack Black foi o outro grande homenageado do evento com o Comedic Genius Award.
Já quando falamos de conteúdos UNSCRIPTED, RuPaul's Drag Race confirmou o estatuto de série de culto e venceu dois prémios: Best Competition Series e Best Fight. Por sua vez, o drama do imobiliário de luxo reuniu também o favoritismo dos fãs, já que Selling Sunset foi a série eleita nas categorias Best Docu-Reality Series e Best Reality Star.
