Em 2021, os MTV Movie & TV Awards são em dose dupla e já há nomeados
Já são conhecidos os nomeados dos tão esperados MTV Movie & TV Awards que, pela primeira vez, serão em dose dupla. A edição deste ano dos prémios que distinguem os maiores e melhores do cinema e da televisão será uma celebração épica de duas noites em Los Angeles, nos EUA. Como não podia deixar de ser, o palco português do evento será a MTV Portugal, com transmissão em direto e em exclusivo nos dias 16 e 17 de maio, às 02:00.
O dia 16 de maio é dedicado aos MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021, a cerimónia que vai premiar todos os nomeados scripted, ou seja, as produções globais de cinema e televisão que marcaram o último ano.
Com cinco nomeações, WandaVision é a série de TV líder na corrida aos MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021, sendo seguida de perto por Emily in Paris e The Boys, ambos com quatro indicações, e Bridgerton e The Mandalorian, com três. Já do lado dos filmes, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan é o runner-up destacado, sendo candidato em três categorias.
Chadwick Boseman, que faleceu em agosto do ano passado, encontra-se nomeado na categoria de "Best Performance in a Movie" pelo seu brilhante papel em Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.
